19th Biennale of artists of the 6th arrondissement

Organized by Comité des Fêtes, d’action culturelle et sociale du 6e, the 19th Biennale pays tribute to one of Switzerland’s most renowned artists: Roswitha Doerig.

Roswitha Doerig paints large canvases flooded with colour, drained of black, with incredible energy. The angel motif punctuates his work as a leitmotiv. In constant research, she devoted herself from the 90s to gestural painting, without abandoning abstract non-figurative painting. This great artist has given new life to Man Ray’s studio, located on rue Férou in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés.
