The trace of the sketch on the white wave on the shore of the sea is inspired by the quadri series “ The memory of the white ” made for use only in white on the gray linen fabric. The wave diagram represents a “matrix” of white color, which takes the form and source of the material it contains. This does not mean that it does not contain any real spatial information, it is intended to be in a timeless dimension, it is supposed to be figurative and astrazione. The white light shines through the natural light, with its infinite smature, it changes in motion and is graced by all the forti and phantasy, it allows its powerful memory, my effimera, its sabbia. In this case, the talvolta insert into the body emerges and if it is confused with the Arabesque designs in the diagram. It is possible to hear in the moment of pace, of abandonment, of contemplation, that it absorbs the energy of the water that has been forged. Sono in harmony with the white of the wave che, avvolgendoli, li nasconde e al contempo li rivela, evoking the purezza of an ancestral world. In this case, when it comes to hope, if in the background it is evocative of the white and its ability to transcend reality and imagination, it is possible to imagine… and as W. Blake says: “The Imagination is not a state: it is the human existence itself”.
Infine il bianco delle onde appare per me come il simbolo di un mondo ove tutti i colori sono scomparsi un mondo di pace, di silenzio assoluto impenetrabile: “White resonates internally like a non-sound, which corresponds to certain silences in music. It is a silence full of possibility. White sounds like a silence that could be understood. It is a nothingness, which is young, or even more precisely, a nothingness before the beginning, before birth. Perhaps this is how the earth sounded on the white days of the Ice Age” (W. Kandinsky, “Concerning the Spiritual in Art and in Painting in Particular”).
