Come discover Rossella Rossi's Mediterranean emotions with Lueurs méditerranéennes. Journey into her dreamlike world where colors pulse, trees iridescent, and sky and sea dance in a passionate embrace.
Contemporary art exhibitions.
The exhibition is a poetic and engaging journey between fiction and reality, an ode to Mediterranean nature, where the boundaries between sea, land, and sky disappear…
Saint-Tropez is the twin of Varigotti, the fishing village where Rossella grew up, and this region has always been close to her heart. Located on the shores of the Mediterranean, in Liguria, a land of horizons, salt, and rocks, it is both isolated and at the center of the world, a place that is part of time, abolishing the boundaries between present and past, where light reigns supreme. Saint-Tropez is a natural link between Mediterranean cultures, echoing the world.
Rossella's goal is to share her Mediterranean emotions, to bring audiences into contact with the vibrancy and energy of the sea, the pulse of the earth, and the effervescence of the sky. Traveling through her dreamlike world, colors pulse, trees iridescent, sky and sea dance in a passionate embrace.
This particularly dense exhibition multiplies the ways of presenting his work, in particular through an immersive installation that will invite the public to sit and immerse themselves in the paintings that cover all the walls of the exhibition, in an atmosphere of poetic reverie.
The gallery's reception area will also feature lithographs and books by the artist. Rossella was born and raised in Liguria. A molecular biology researcher at the CNRS (National Center for Scientific Research) on DNA replication for over 15 years, she later devoted herself to painting, attending courses at the Beaux-Arts in Paris and Milan. Her works are held in important public and private collections worldwide.
